I help clients identify unwanted thoughts and behaviors and uncover their underlying causes with compassion and understanding. By giving ourselves permission to recognize and name the experiences we've been through, we can enable our brains to process stressors in a new, healthier way. This approach fosters the development of new neural pathways, replacing unwanted thoughts and behaviors with positive and welcoming ones.
To guide clients through this transformative journey, I utilize a variety of therapeutic methods, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Somatic Therapy. These techniques are particularly effective as they acknowledge that life’s stressors often reside within the body, helping prevent the recurrence of old patterns even after therapy concludes.
